The Unwritten War is designed to work without an account. Campaign saves remain on the player’s device. Apple services and consent-gated Google advertising are used only for the functions described below.
Public website
The website is a view-only visual and marketing presentation. It does not create campaign saves, process purchases, request native advertising, or accept combat input. Standard hosting security and delivery infrastructure may process request information such as IP address, browser details and diagnostic logs to serve and protect the site.
Information stored by the game
Campaign saves, settings, accessibility choices, local ad-frequency counters and Officer’s Edition presentation preferences are stored on the device. The developer does not receive this local information. Removing the app may remove it unless the operating system restores the app’s data from a device backup.
Apple services
StoreKit processes purchases and provides a verified entitlement indicating whether Officer’s Edition is owned. The game does not receive payment-card details.
Game Center is optional. If the player authenticates, Apple processes the Game Center identity, leaderboard scores and achievements under Apple’s privacy terms.
Apple may provide aggregated App Store diagnostics, sales and acquisition reports to the developer.
Advertising and consent
The free edition uses Google Mobile Ads only at eligible chapter breaks and for optional rewarded intelligence. Google’s User Messaging Platform requests or records consent where required before an ad request is made. The app globally disables ad personalization and Google’s publisher first-party identifier; it does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or intentionally access the IDFA. Non-personalized or limited advertising can still use information required for delivery, fraud prevention, frequency control and aggregated reporting, including IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics and performance information. Players can reopen the native privacy-options form from the Officer’s Edition panel.
Officer’s Edition permanently suppresses ad requests after its StoreKit entitlement is verified. No ad is requested during battles, strategic decisions, cinematics, tutorials, debriefs or the Chronicle Vault.
Purpose, retention and sharing
Information processed by Apple and Google is used to deliver purchases, achievements, ads, fraud prevention, consent management, measurement and service reliability. Those providers retain and share information according to their own policies and legal obligations. The developer does not sell the local campaign record and does not operate an independent player-profile database in this release.
Children and historical content
The game contains realistic depictions and discussion of war and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly create accounts for or collect contact details directly from children.
Choices and requests
Players can decline optional Game Center authentication, use available ad-consent choices, purchase the ad-free edition, reset local campaign information by deleting the app, and contact Eray Dinler at eraydinler@gmail.com or through the support page. Requests concerning Apple or Google account data may need to be submitted directly to the relevant provider.
Policy changes
Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. The production App Store listing will identify the developer responsible for this policy and provide the final support contact before submission.
